Natsume appears to have a new title coming for Nintendo DS. UPDATED!
A recent ESRB listing has revealed a new Nintendo DS title on the way from Natsume. Entitled Witch's Wish, it is rated E for Everyone for Comic Mischief.

The publisher of Klonoa and We Cheer recently filed two new potential game titles for the great continent of Europe.
Over the course of December, Namco Bandai has filed numerous trademarks with The Trade Marks and Designs Registration Office of the European Union. The latest filings to become public knowledge are trademarks for "Joint Assault" and "Voyage of the Planet."

The mobile download service will get a healthy dose of the side-scrolling shooter.
Genterprise is developing a new DSiWare game in their G.G Series called Dark Spirits, a side-scrolling shooter, to be released in Japan this January. The gameplay features the use of four familiars, who each can be powered up individually. The game will release on January 6th in Japan, and like other games in the G.G Series will cost 200 Nintendo DSi Points.

The Zelda producer wants to create a sequel to the Wii Zapper title with emphasis on multiplayer.
In an interview with Games Magazine, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma confessed that he wishes to create a sequel to Link's Crossbow Training, a title included for free with the Wii Zapper. In the interview he expressed his desire to expand what the team created with the first title, explaining that "I thought that we should do something more and better in the field of the first person shooter, based on our experience of the first game."

The entire franchise will be represented in the upcoming fighting game.
Namco Bandai has announced a new Ultraman title for Wii called Daikaiju Battle Ultra Coliseum DX: Ultra Senshi Daishuketsu.
The title is a fighting game that will feature Ultraman characters from various series, up to the movie Great Kaiju Battle Ultra Galaxy Legend. The following characters have been confirmed to be in the game:

The upcoming puzzle game for WiiWare will feature pipe-spinning action, rubber duckies, and local multiplayer for up to four.

THQ will own the WWE license for the next eight years.
THQ has finally reached a deal regarding the use of the WWE franchise. They have signed a 13.2 million deal with the WWE that will give them use of the franchise for eight years. THQ president and CEO Brian Farrell stated that, "This agreement ensures that WWE games will continue to be an important cornerstone of THQ’s annual release schedule for the long term".

The Japanese giant plans on setting up shop overseas.
Capcom has unvieled a strategy for increasing their overseas sales. Currently, sales outside of Japan account for 52% of their total income. Capcom has stated that their goal is to raise that number to 65%. To do so, they have laid out a three-part strategy in their 2009 annual report statement.

Square Enix came to Jump Festa armed with a new video of their upcoming DS title.
Square Enix's DS remake of Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Reverie had a new trailer revealed at the recent Jump Festa 2010. It looks like a great update to the original game, sporting incredible 3D graphics and impressive use of the system's dual screens.
Dragon Quest VI is set for Japanese release on January 28, 2010.

Capcom creates an 8-Bit prequel for the current-gen game they haven't released yet.

Watch out for falling limbs.
Nintendo's upcoming action title Zangeki no Reginleiv (Dynamic Slash) has a new trailer, featuring Norse deities Freyja and Freyr going up against some nasty giants. This is the first Nintendo game ever to be rated CERO D in Japan, primarily due to the blood-soaked manner in which you can use Wii MotionPlus to sever the limbs of your enemies.
