Lik-Sang now has the Panasonic Q pre-modified to not just play US or JPN games, but all region DVD movies, too!

While we cannot vouch for the reliablity of Lik-Sang (though we hear that they are pretty good), they are now offering Panasonic's Q GameCube/DVD console. But the best part is, it's been modified to play US/JPN games, and DVD movies from any region!

The output is NTSC only, so PAL TV owners need not apply. Also, it's not cheap, it's going to set you back five bills ($500).

ATI releases its Q1 numbers, and gets a little love from GameCube.

TORONTO, Jan 9 (Reuters) - ATI Technologies Inc. reported first-quarter results on Wednesday that hit estimates thanks to strong sales of the Nintendo GameCube which runs on the Canadian firm's graphic chips.

ATI, which sells graphic chips to computer makers, said net income in the quarter ended November 30 rose to $10.4 million, or 4 cents per share, adjusted, up from losses of $16.2 million or 7 cents a share in the year-ago quarter.

Sonic Team’s president muses about the possibility of sequels for a few of his fan-favorite games.

Sonic Team’s Yuji Naka is certainly best known for Sonic the Hedgehog, but his team is also responsible for games such as Phantasy Star Online, Nights and the cult favorite, Burning Rangers. Naka-san recently spoke to Weekly Famitsu, where these games and the subject of sequels came up.

Never got to play those cool Game and Watch games back in the day? All you'll need to do is swipe a card.

Core is reporting that Nintendo is planning to release Game and Watch games on the Game Boy Advance. However, instead of using a cartridge, Nintendo will be utilizing the E-Card Reader that has been made famous for the Pokémon cards. This makes perfect sense, as G&W games can easily be stored on an E-Card's limited data stripe storage capacity.

GameSpot is reporting rumors that Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance is being ported to other consoles.

According to GameSpot's spies, the title is in the process of being ported to "other consoles". No further details are available at this time, and the game's publisher did not comment on the rumor.

Race of Champions is based on the Michelin Race of Champions, held annually in the Canary Islands.
