Ahead of the reveal of the upcoming Wii U game's eclectic soundtrack next Monday, listen to this song.

On Monday, we at Nintendo World Report will be revealing the full soundtrack for 13AM Games' debut game Runbow, which is a crazy nine-player platformer with snazzy visuals, tons of guest characters, and as you'll soon find out, a rad soundtrack.

There's more to the soundtrack than meets the ear, and we'll reveal 13AM Games' process and creation of the soundtrack next week. Until then, enjoy this choice song from the soundtrack.

Pokkén Tournament Announced For Wii U, Releasing Spring 2016 WiiUARC

Get ready for your own G(archomp)1 Climax.

The 2015 World Pokémon Championships kicked off with a major Wii U announcement.

Pokkén Tournament has been announced for the Wii U, releasing in all territories in Spring 2016. The game is currently going through balance testing in Japanese arcades.

The announcement also confirmed that Pikachu Libre, a Fighting-typed form Pikachu featured in Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, will be playable in the Wii U game.

It's a heavy week for the North American side of the downloads, as usual. Despite Freedom Planet having its release held to squash more freeze bugs, there's a couple of strategic sequels on the Wii U Virtual Console as Hardcore August rolls on, and several indie titles including a game that you might already own thanks to crossbuy if you bought into the Humble Nindie Bundle.

Nintendo Of America Lowers Suggested Price Of 2DS 3DS

Now how much would you pay?

Nintendo of America has just announced their first hardware price drop in nearly two years, with the 2DS benefitting.

A press statement announced that the entry level handheld will have a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $99.99 effective August 30. Mario Kart 7 will still be included in all 2DS systems.

Splatoon Moves On Up To Flounder Heights WiiU

Nobody gets their damage deposit back in this place.

A new stage will drop tomorrow night and leave the squidkids in the midst of a giant apartment complex.

Flounder Heights will join the rotation tomorrow night at 10 p.m. Eastern / 7 p.m. Pacific. The centerpiece of the map is a giant apartment building that is in the center of the map, meaning you'll have to somehow get around it to reach the enemy base.

Yo-Kai Watch Drops November 6 3DS

Nintendo has issued a press statement confirming Yo-Kai Watch will launch in North America on November 6.

The Level 5 developed multi-million seller in Japan will see its first game drop early in November, promising more than 200 Yo-kai to collect and train.

Senran Kagura 2 Dated For North America 3DS

The 3DS is about to get another test of its physics handling.

Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson has been announced for a September 15 release in North America by XSEED, following its 27 August release in Europe. North America will be able to get the game on the eShop for US$39.99, but a physical copy known as the "Double D Edition" will be available for $49.99 bundled with a 60 song soundtrack.

"Hardcore August" continues with some Intelligent Systems strategy

Nintendo's game list has updated to announce Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising will be tomorrow's Wii U Virtual Console release.

The sequel to the GBA launch title released in 2003 originally, and came out in Europe on July 2. The main additions were a group of additional commanding officers and the storyline follows on from the original's.

Picross 3D 2 Announced For Japan 3DS

Nintendo World Report staff have already begun the localization demands.

One of the most beloved DS puzzle games is getting a sequel.

A Nintendo website was just updated to announce that Picross 3D 2 will release on October 1 in Japan for 3000yn + tax. The website promises over 300 puzzles will be included in the package.

Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX Demo Now Available 3DS

A warning for Europe: You get one shot.

Sega has released the demo for their upcoming 3DS rhythm title Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX.

Available now in the eShop, the demo contains two songs playable on each of the game's difficulty levels. The North American version of the demo has the standard 30 plays, while the European demo originally launched with one use. As the Japanese demo had 30 uses, this may be a glitch.

North America's Next Splatfest: Autobots Vs Decepticons WiiU

If the vote was For or Against Michael Bay, it'd end up 99-1 against in popularity.

The next North American Splatfest will be more than meets the eye.

Splatfest IV has been announced for August 29 from midnight Eastern (9 p.m. Pacific August 28) for the traditional 24 hours. In association with Hasbro, the theme will be Callie's Autobots against Marie's Decepticons.

Although Splatfest have been sponsored before for Japan, this is the first Western example of a sponsored Splatfest.

Wii U Firmware 5.5 Released

A new system menu update has launched for the Wii U.

The most noticeable change in the update is the removal of the TVii icon following the service's discontinuation last week, according to the update's patch notes, though the usual "improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience".

A chance to create new squidkids is coming this weekend

The Splatoon Testfire will be returning for another round of turf wars this weekend in North America and this coming week for Europe.

The Legend of Legacy Launch Edition, Release Date Announced 3DS

Atlus bringing it once again with their physical releases.

Atlus has prepared another launch edition for a 3DS game, this time for The Legend of Legacy.

Launch editions of the game will include a hardcover 40 page artbook and a 10-track sampler CD, plus a protective case that will make the box measure 6" x 8". This edition will be available for preorders as well as a supply at the game's launch.

Splatoon Adding Rainmaker Mode Tomorrow Night WiiU

The only recorded case of someone not getting splatted by the Rainmaker happened at SplatKingdom IX.

Tomorrow night's Splatoon update, the first since 2.0, will add the Rainmaker mode to the ranked battles.
