Nintendo announced new controller colors for the Japanese market today. In addition to the Platinum GameCube releasing on December 1st, there is more to come.

December 5th marks the overseas release of the Platinum WAVE BIRD, as well as new Emerald and Platinum colors for the standard GameCube controller.

IBM are running a series of advertisements promoting their business partners, including Nintendo. These pictures were taken at two London Underground stations.

IBM were the developers of GameCube's "Gekko" processor, based on the PowerPC architecture and recently announced the shipment of the 10 millionth chip.

Rare's official website has updated with its first "Scribes" letters page since the famous developer was released by Nintendo and subsequently purchased by Microsoft. Although we don't plan to cover Rare's every move now that they are no longer directly affiliated with Nintendo, there are a few tidbits worth mentioning this time.

Despite maintaining North American operations for years, Japan-based Kemco has never had a functional website for its English-speaking fans. The company has used http://www.top-gear.com as its official site, but that address never pointed to anything more than an "Under Construction" notice. Now Kemco's American branch finally has its own real website. Check out the press release below:
