A trailer has released confirming the next addition will be Excitebike 64; Nintendo of America quoted August 30 as the launch date, which may result in an actual release of late in the evening on the 29th for North America.

The SteamWorld series is taking aim at yet another genre before the year is out.

SteamWorld Build, which adapts the steampunk/cowboy hybrid aesthetic to a city builder, has revealed a launch date of December 1 as part of Gamescom. The trailer is below:

Elements of earlier games in the series - specifically hiring bots to mine materials and setting up towers to defend against monsters - will appear in a modified form in Build.

Nightdive Studios Announces Star Wars, Turok 3 Remasters Switch

Do you want to dance with the dinosaurs, or are you taking your money to see a star war?

Nightdive Studios have announced a pair of first person shooter remasters that cover a couple of forms of science fiction.

To coincide with Gamescom, Nightdive have confirmed remasters of Star Wars: Dark Forces and Turok 3: Shadows of Oblivion for release: Dark Forces does not have a confirmed release date, but Turok 3 will be available on Switch November 14. Both remasters will be developed in the company's "Kex" engine.

New Pokemon Poltchageist Being Served In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet DLC Switch

The count of new Pokemon from the Scarlet and Violet DLC is now into the double digits.

A pair of videos posted by the Pokemon Company today revealed the new Pokemon Poltchageist; although taking similar inspiration from the Sinistea and Polteageist in Sword and Shield, they are said to be unrelated. The new one is a Ghost and Grass type (while the Sword and Shield duos are entirely Ghost type).

A new trailer for Detective PIkachu Returns ran during the Pokemon Presents that has revealed more of the game's characters.

In addition to Tim Goodman and his missing father Harry, the story will also include Tim's mother Irene and sister Sophia. Partner Pokemon were also shown, using a Growlithe to sniff out clues and a Darmanitan (Galarian form) to break walls.

Game Boy And N64 Switch Online Libraries Adding More Pokemon Games Mobi

Two Switch Online libraries will be adding new Pokemon games shortly.

During the Pokemon Presents, both the Pokemon Trading Card Game (GBC, 1999) and Pokemon Stadium 2 (N64, 2001) were confirmed for release "shortly after the presentation". The GBC game was announced in February with the reveal of the library, while the N64 game was announced last September.

WrestleQuest Receives Last Minute Delay: Now Launching On August 22 Switch

Given the reason for the delay, the news desk certainly gets it.

A potentially catastrophic bug has caused the release of WrestleQuest to be pushed back a couple of weeks.

The wrestling RPG was originally slated to launch tomorrow (August 8) but has been pushed back to the 22nd. The cause is an unidentified platform causing issues with losing save data across multiple devices.
