Well, the keynote address has just concluded, and PETERMAINCO was in top form, inciting the crowd to applause on several occasions. For the most part, the keynote was fairly dry, just the heads of the companies talking about what the plan is for the next year. But since we are a Nintendo-site, we’ll just give you the notes from the Nintendo end of the conference, covering the bases not covered at the Press Briefing yesterday.

Check it out... the wacky Brits have completely revamped their site just in for the new era of Nintendo gaming.
With the exception of their Forum (and the fact that I can't find Mr. Pants as of yet) it appears no major features were sacrificed in the push to give the site a slick new look. Old favorites like Scribes and Ask Uncle Tusk are still kicking around so don't fear losing your chance to pick up some occasional humor from the site.

Sega has commited to developing 10 different tiles for the GameCube. What will we see on the E3 floor today?
According to the article, Sega is prepared to show off Super Monkey Ball, Virtua Striker 3 Ver. 2002, and Phantasy Star Online, which will debut next Spring.

How did this happen? How did I get from skipping school for a couple of days last May just to read about the Dolphin and Nintendo’s various attractions to waiting outside a gate with dozens upon dozens of fellow journalists, anticipating what is going to be one of Nintendo’s highest monumental days, and one that I will never forget.

As expected, Sin & Punishment will be at E3. Will it be released in North America?
Just had to mention this. In Nintendo’s press materials, it mentions 3 N64 games will be shown at E3 “though just one of them is likely to be released in North America.” The three titles are: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, Animal Forest (also now confirmed for GameCube) and Sin & Punishment.... The Wavebird cordless GameCube controller has been revamped and will be on display at E3 2001!
Here's the new design....and note...it's Silver! Check out the added bottom part in comparison to the old Wavebird controller. It's still slick lookin!
The Wavebird will work supposedly between 15-30 feet away from the GameCube!

PGC broke first news on Rare’s secret title to be showcased at E3. The show is about to start and we now know its name: Kameo.
Last week, PGC dropped a bombshell: Rare was working on a secret game featuring a female protagonist who could take the forms and abilities of monsters. During Nintendo’s press conference, video footage was shown of a title that was unmistakably the game we reported on earlier. It’s called Kameo: Elements of Power, it’s coming to GameCube and it looks amazing.

According to the press release, it's being released by Sega of America, and will be released sometime in 2002.

At the press conference this morning, Nintendo's staff revealed a new feature of the GameCube's controller. Nintendo just completed their Conference and we have the skinny!
Nintendo's Conference lasted approximately 90 minutes and showcased a lot of in-game footage, as opposed to Xbox's outing which was more talk than action.
