A new twist on the life of a supervillain's henchman is coming to Switch in October, and it has writing talent experienced in subtle parody.

Henchman Story has confirmed a release date on Switch of October 14 in a new trailer (available below). It is an adventure game starring Stan, a down-on-his-luck henchman of the evil Lord Bedlam who has to try and survive while his boss sets out to destroy the world.

The April-launching adventure will launch an update a week from today which will include support for the "Limitless Line" free DLC. Available after completing the game, the Limitless Line is an endless dungeon with randomly generated areas.

The veil is about to come off the next few Pokemon games.

A Pokemon Presents presentation will air on Wednesday, August 18 at 9 am E.T., 6 a.m. PT, or 1500 CET. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl, and Legends Arceus will all be shown in the video.

This will be the first major news brief on the Sinnoh-focused trio since their release dates were given as November 19 and January 28 (BD/SP, Legends) on May 26.

Nintendo is still the hardware sales unit king in the US, and July saw them reclaim the software crown as well.

The Life is Strange Remastered Collection is not alone in being delayed, but True Colors has a target.

A response posted following Wednesday's announcement from the Life is Strange brand Twitter confirmed that the Switch version is "running a little late" and will miss the planned September 10 launch date. It is still planned for 2021.

The king of the roguelike platformer is coming to Switch in three weeks.

Originally spotted by Vooks, both Spelunky and Spelunky 2 have been spotted on the European and Australian eShops with a release date of 26 August. Spelunky will be US$9.99/€9.99/AU$15.00, with Spelunky 2 at US$19.99/€19.99/AU$30.00.

Although Life is Strange will still show its True Colors next month, the rest of the series has been held back.

In announcing the release date for True Colors's first DLC story (September 30), developer Deck Nine have also confirmed the Remastered Collection which would bring the series to Switch in its entirety has been delayed to early 2022.

Nintendo have confirmed the latest edition of their indie show will air tomorrow (August 11), at noon ET / 9 am PT / 1800 CET. According to the notification it will be "around 20 minutes long" similar to the last few.

The last piece of the Darksiders puzzle is Switch-bound.

Darksiders III, a more exploration focused new take on the series, will come to Switch on September 30. A physical release is also coming, and as a late port from PC / PlayStation 4 / Xbox One will include a pair of DLC packs.
