This week's movie shows off a snip the mysterious story mode. You'll see the mystery when you download the movie.

The official F-Zero website has updated again. As a service to you, the readers, we're telling you all the juicy details about the new items added to the site.

The big update can be found on the GX game page, in the form of a story mode teaser. The movie shows off Black Shadow in a side-by-side race with an as-of-yet unknown pilot. The Black Bull crashes, and the mystery man comes up and threatens Shadow. Quite interesting.

The site has also updated its Pilot & Machine section, will all but five of the full roster of 32 characters revealed. Remember, all these updates are happening on the Japanese side of the website, with the English pages continuing to be neglected.

Shadow doesn't sound quite as deep and evil as you'd think...*shrug*.

Good thing Nintendo isn't Square and has Japanese voice acting, then tries to convert to English...nope, all Nintendo games from Mario Sunshine and now F-Zero have English voice acting in all versions, yay! But then again all of the F-Zero human characters are obviously American looking, and Mario is as far away from Japanese as possible (the stupid shows and movie says they are from Brooklyn after all, lol), so then again something like Fire Emblem might eventually have Japanese voice acting....

They could actually use some of that video to make a kick ass commercial when it gets closer to launch in NA. But they probably won't. Hopefully they use at least a little FMV in a commercial though.

Um have you seen any of the commercials and trailers that were released during or after E3? They are all chock full of trailers. Look at the Japanese side of the F-Zero page, and go to the movie section. There is the full length E3 trailer, which has a good amount of FMV scenes, including a huge mushroom cloud explosion (what the heck is that about), then there is basically a really long teaser commercial showing off the gameplay modes, also with a good amount of FMV, and then there is the really cool and hip Japanese commercial which has a lot of FMV too, including a scene no in the other ones where Falcom is helping this woman get up from the ground....

Anyway, I'm sure NOA will be more than happy to include cool FMV scenes....NOA wants to kill the kiddy image as much as we do....

Well, if that's the case (English VA), then maybe it's worth importing. Unless, of course, the Japanese saves don't work with the American version. Of course, my money's going to VideoGameDepot if I do.

Don't import....I don't think the Japanese game will work with the American arcade game....

And the text and stuff is still in Japanese I think...
