We interviewed Denis Dyack at D.I.C.E. Here are a few snippets.

PGC got the chance to speak with Silicon Knights president Denis Dyack this morning in Las Vegas. The full interview will be posted later this weekend, but here are a few choice selections:

Silicon Knights is currently working on multiple titles. Dyack would not say exactly how many there are.

SK will be showing something at E3 in May, but we don't know if it will be playable.

Too Human is still in development. Dyack describes the game as a "futuristic psychological thrilller", and he says it is very different from Eternal Darkness.

SK wants the upcoming games to have more flash and "pizazz" than Eternal Darkness did.

SK admits that Eternal Darkness left many loose ends in its story and that those loose ends may one day be explored in a new game. However, such a game is not necessarily in development right now.

Stay tuned for the full interview!

Great Exiting Stuff!, Silicon Knights became one of my favorite developers once i played Eternal Darkness face-icon-small-smile.gif Cant wait to see what those geniuses cook up!

This discussion has come up fairly often: what are they doing now? After Eternal Darkness, there really wasn't any news. I'm glad this came to light, although I wish he would at least tease us with something. The post-holiday-pre-E3 lull really blows.

Plus I plan on applying for a job there. face-icon-small-happy.gif

Hmm... seems as if they were dissatisfied with ED. I don't understand why, it was pretty damn good. I remember just beating Resident Evil and starting ED thinking "damn.... those graphics are....interesting..." But after a few hours, I just my shut my mouth.

From my understanding Too Human is to be an Epic of Epic proportions, one can only keep their fingers crossed that SK will have an Eternal Darkness sequel of sort will pop up during the Game Cube's life cycle.

It now pretty much certin that Too Human won't be out this year. Especially if its not playible. And the fact that they are once again working on several projects at once. It kind of makes me salivate what they have for us in 2004.

Id like to see either a FPS, a RPG, or an Action Adventure type game like the first Legacy of Kain, wich if im not mistaken was done by Silicon Knights as well.

ThePermFebruary 28, 2003

ooooh an rpg from sk...the thought makes me salivate.
