Ever wanted to own the Lugia PT Cruiser? Maybe you'd be more interested in E3 passes or a tour of NOA headquarters? If you've got the money, this is your chance.

Discuss it in Talkback!

The Interactive Digital Software Association, the same organization behind the E3 Expo, is hosting its annual "Nite to Unite for Kids" charity event. In addition to a snazzy black-tie dinner at $500 per plate, the IDSA is hosting a myriad of online auctions at eBay to raise money for the event. The big prize is a one-of-a-kind Chrysler PT Cruiser, decorated to look like Lugia (a Pokemon, in case you're not cool enough to already know that). There are also tons of smaller auctions for those of us who can't just go around buying custom-built cars when we feel like it. You can bid on everything from a skateboard autographed by Tony Hawk, to passes for the E3 Expo in May, to a tour of Nintendo of America headquarters. Check out the official announcement below, then hit the link above to see the list of auctions. Remember, it's for charity!

Don't miss your chance to win never-before-available computer and

video games and other game-related items, and help America's kids

at the same time!

Starting October 10th, computer and video game fans will have the

unprecedented opportunity to bid on games and products unavailable

anywhere else, with proceeds going to support the IDSA Foundation.

During the A Nite to Unite - for Kids online charity auction, you

can bid on and buy unique game packages and hard-to-find products

on eBay, The World's Online Marketplace.

The online charity auction will run two weeks, October 10 - 20, 2002

at http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/nite2unite4kids/.

Please make sure to pass this note along to all the gamers you know!

Presented by the Interactive Digital Software Association (IDSA),

the trade association representing U.S. computer and video game

publishers, "A Nite to Unite - for Kids" is the premiere charitable

fundraising event for the interactive entertainment industry.

Funds raised by the event and the auction will benefit Boys and Girls

Club Delinquency Prevention Initiative, Web Wise Kids and Just Think

Foundation.

Twenty-five leading computer and video game companies have come

together to support this year's Nite to Unite benefit for children,

providing a rare opportunity for gamers to get their hands on as-yet

unreleased products and other unique items including the following

items, just to name a few.

· Limited Edition Pokemon Lugia 2001 PT Cruiser

· E3Expo day and party passes

· Tour Nintendo's Headquarters and game play center

· Ultimate Playstation2 Package with game & accessories

· X-Box complete console with games and X-Box fan clothing

· Tomb Raider 2, movie premiere package.

· Limited Edition Pokemon Lugia 2001 PT Cruiser

· Tony Hawk autographed skateboard

· Capcom's Greatest Classics Arcade Unit

The IDSA's fifth annual Nite to Unite for Kids charity event also

features a black-tie-optional dinner and auction on Tuesday,

October 22 at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.

Companies or individuals interested in supporting this worthwhile

cause are invited to attend the gala event. Tickets to the gala

are $500 for individuals; table sponsorships are available.
