So for those in North America who missed Titanium Court or Mouthwashing last week, it's probably because it was buried (especially on Switch 2) under a combined one hundred and twenty six releases - a record 96 on Switch, and a record 30 on Switch 2. So the eShop is currently going through a minor version of what Steam and itch.io are currently being effectively DDoSed for, which is still more than enough reason to have Claude and whatever other AI slopping tools drug into the street and shot.

As for this week, the big kahuna is the first good main-series Zelda game on the Switch 2 (third time's the charm, apparently) with the remake of the immortal Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Despite not being as good as The House in Fata Morgana, it's still a remake of one of the most critically acclaimed games in history with some new quality of life and a graphic style that I look forward to seeing in full once I'm out from under the combination of Fortune's Weave and everything mentioned in the first paragraph. Other Switch 2 items of note: Godzilla's back (go ahead and destroy the data center Godzilla, make the people happy) with Destroy All Monsters Melee, the worst first impression for a great game in Guardians of the Galaxy (2021) is finally playable outside the cloud on a Nintendo platform, and Zero Parades for Dead Spies is the first game from ZA/UM since Disco Elysium and the Ship of Theseus sailed through the studio, taking virtually everyone who worked on DE with it.

THINGS WE MISSED LAST WEEK: There was an entire Indie World with a few shadowdrops, and two games John would like us to mention - but we'll stick with the one that DOESN'T have a physical edition put out by war criminals and call out Wild Blue Skies, a Star Fox-esque game from Chuhai Labs.

IS THE EGGCONSOLE GAME PLAYABLE IN ENGLISH: As a rule, Japanese adventure games are an automatic no.
