Nintendo Australia updates their site - and thus provides us with local information including hardware and software release dates.

Discuss it in Talkback!

Nintendo Australia has once again given their site a fairly major update, this time adding complete sites for Game Boy Advance, Pokemon Mini and N64. There's also some Game Boy Color information. As for the Pokemon Mini, seeing that most stores that carry them have been discounting them to about half their original price, it looks like Nintendo doesn't plan to release any of the new Pokemon Mini games that have come out since its release in Japan.

Aside from this, Nintendo has provided us with a completely revamped release date list. It lists all currently released games and upcoming games for the GameCube and Game Boy Advance up until the end of the year. I won't list them all (as they're accessible on the site, and have been for some time) but here are a few of the main Nintendo ones, including hardware:

Resident Evil - September 13th

Platinum Gameboy Advance - September 19th

Disney’s Magical Mirror starring Mickey Mouse - September 20th

Disney’s Magical Quest starring Mickey and Minnie - September 20th

Memory Card 251 - October 4th

Wavebird Wireless Controller - October 4th

Super Mario Sunshine - October 4th

Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 - October 4th

Because the listing only goes up to the end of the year, there is no mention of games like Metroid Prime or The Legend of Zelda. Animal Crossing and Doshin the Giant are not listed at all (but from what I've heard, Animal Crossing is planned for next year). Other Nintendo titles such as Metroid Fusion, Star Fox Adventures and The Legend of Zelda (GBA) only have months listed for their release dates at present.

And yes, the Resident Evil Friday September 13 release date is deliberate. Oooh, spooky.
