Two of the best selling Switch 2 games received new information today.

Mario Kart World's version 1.8 update is out now, and in addition to adding two more Knockout Tours a "Vs Race" option is available with ten courses based on courses from the original Super Mario Kart. The courses even use ? blocks that must be driven across on the ground in order to get items alongside the retro track designs.

The final rider/vehicle Kirby Air Riders amiibo were also revealed as Sword Kirby+Dragoon and Noir Dedede+Hydra, bringing the final count for the line to seven. The new amiibo will be available in 2027: before that, an event that "refreshes the menus" will be released.
