Kirby's 35th anniversary next year is going even further beyond than you might've thought.
The final announcement of today's Direct was the reveal of Kirby and the World Beyond, a full 3D action\adventure game due for launch in spring 2027. The trailer showed the traditional Kirby copy abilities getting massive power ups: at one point, Sword Kirby cut down an entire wall.
The game will be a part of the 35th anniversary of Kirby (originally released in 1992), with more celebration details forthcoming.
