The show begins on August 27 at the Tokyo Festival Hall. Admission is 3,000 yen and advance ticket sales begin on June 17.
Performed by the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Taizou Takemoto, the concert will consist of 14 songs from Super Smash Bros. Melee in two parts. In addition, the show will be interspersed with special appearances by the game's director, Masahiro Sakurai and the voice of both Kirby and Ness, actress Makiko Ohmoto. Nintendo also hinted at the appearance of a "special guest", whose identity is currently a mystery.
