by Ben Kosmina - March 25, 2002, 5:48 pm EST

Discuss it in Talkback!

According to one reader, an EB staff member said that all EB stores should have a GameCube demo unit by the end of the month. And as you can see by the list, it certainly seems to be true. Therefore, you're probably best off to check out your nearest EB for a GCN demo unit.

I've also been asked whether the PAL GameCubes are Progressive Scan compatible. Yes, they are, but you'll need to purchase the Component Cable. The Cable will only be available directly from Nintendo. No price as yet.

If there are any more GameCube demo units out there (there certainly seem to be, mostly in EB) send me the State, the Suburb and the Store you saw it in.
