MS had Sony's PlayStation rigs shut down at CeBit. Though unrelated to GameCube, I thought it was an interesting newsbyte. Read about the bickering children here.

Discuss it in Talkback!

Microsoft executive, Richard Roy, complained to a CeBit organizers about Sony's use of playable demo units on the CeBit show floor, a gadget and technology-based show in Germany, which is not unlike US's Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

It's considered against show rules to allow show visitors to be hands-on with the gadgets on display, but Sony has done so for the last three years without incident... until Microsoft cried.

Microsoft denies it, but show organizers confirmed that Richard Roy complained. Microsoft employees were demonstrating the Xbox to show-goers, which makes their complaint about Sony particularly odd.
