Gaming-Age does an excellent interview with our pal Steven Kent. Kentians...click on!
In a new special about Video Game writers, Gaming-Edge interviews the freelance writer, and author, Steven Kent.
Kent's asked about the history of his writing, what it takes to write, his book, and most importantly, what his favorite games are.
It's a good read, so head over there after you read this tiny snippet:
GA: Ever get any nasty emails? What was the gist of one of the nastier letters or calls you ever received in response to one of your articles?
SK: Good LORD! I have received multiple hundreds of angry emails from Xbox owners and fans who did not like my "CONSOLEtations" on MSNBC. I once got a death threat from somebody who did not like my calling Quake "the latest iteration of Doom."
Once, two days after somebody threatened me, I was woken in the middle of the night by three policemen who said they chased somebody who was tampering with my car. I can receive anywhere from 0 to 200 angry emails on any given MSNBC piece. That is the outlet that seems to get the most response. Perhaps it is because you need merely click on my picture to start a message and tell me what an idiot I am.
