SEGA ANNOUNCES HOME RUN KING

NEW BASEBALL TITLE TO BRING FAST, FUN GAMEPLAY TO NINTENDO GAMECUBE

Sega® today announced that "Home Run KING(tm)" is coming to the Nintendo

GameCube(tm) in March, so put down that bag of old, uneaten sunflower seeds

you've been sitting on and get your game cleats out. This fully licensed,

pick-up-and-play arcade winner guarantees that with a little practice and

determination, you'll be "going yard" in no time. With the built in

Create-A-Player option you can customize a player to look just like your

best friend or use Create-A-Team to assemble a dream roster, made up of your

favorite players of all time! Sega also introduces one of its newest cover

stars--Jeff Bagwell. One of last season's leading run scorers and one of

the most feared sluggers in the league, the first baseman of the Houston

Astros graces the cover of "Home Run KING." Scheduled for a March 2002

release exclusively on Nintendo GameCube, "Home Run KING" will have you at

the plate and swinging as soon as the last note of the national anthem is

sung.
