Just got off the phone with Billy. He has what he came for, he's happy it is all over, and he's dog tired. While you'd think he would immediately try to plug and play he actually is contemplating a soothing shower and maybe a nap. Of course once he's got his second wind he wants to send in the pictures he took while in line and we'll try to have a collection of them up soon.

Moving on to the final launch news Billy said the final line was probably around 75 people, but that press coverage made it seem like quite a bit more. Some Japanese readers may have seen Billy's sleep-deprived comments on local television, and be on the look out for pics or comments from Billy just about in any coverage... apparently it was a media zoo.

One additional and odd note was that all of the launch games were available for only 5,220 yen as opposed to the planned 5,800 yen. Whether this is a sign of a price drop or just a deal by the store for the folks who showed up on launch day is unknown.
