While still not feeling like thinking about games, Planet GameCube uses games as a coping mechanism ...
It's over 24 hours since the first horrific images streamed out of our TV sets. Normally, when you see buildings being destroyed, it's part of a game you're playing, or a movie you're watching. Yesterday's event was no movie, and certainly no game.
While most of us don't feel like talking Nintendo, I think all of us would agree that we need to at least TRY to get back to business as usual, just in terms of coping with what we've all seen.
The Forum thread to talk about the tragic events at the World Trade Center is still open ... http://pub89.ezboard.com/fpgcforumsfrm6.showMessage?topicID=139.topic. Feel free to talk with other gamers about your feelings, but do try to keep any messages of hate towards ethnic groups out of the conversation.
Thanks, and God Bless.
