Hey everyone...

I hope you, your families and friends are all safe and okay. I followed everything on television last night about the attacks on the US. It was very surreal seeing everything from here. For two hours we had someone translate everything to us. At first we thought it was a movie. I really wish it had been. I don't even know what to say, but it has totally taken my mind off launch. I'm trying desperately to keep my mind off of this horrible event that happened back at home...so I have escaped to Planet for some refuge. So here goes....

Launch plans are pretty much in place. I will be arriving in Akihabara about 10-11pm tomorrow night (Thursday here) and checking out the scene and figuring out a place to be. From there I will have updates coming a couple times with what's all going on. One slight problem...there's a Typhoon on the way. Yes, that would be #3. Yeehaw. Then again, with all that's happened back in the states...rain doesn't really bother me.

Also another note...Lawson stores may be selling their systems as early as Midnight. Since I didn't pre-order mine from there, I have to wait until 7am like everyone else. Like I really care. In about 50-60 hours...the wait is over. Word.

Now the other tricky thing...when could I be coming home? I was supposed to leave this Saturday...but due to the situation at home...it's sort of up in the air. Not that I'm real keen on the concept of getting onto an airplane.

Outside of that, due to the fact that all airplanes have been grounded, importers may have to wait a little while longer to get their systems.

I think that's about it. Sorry to keep this short...but I want to get back to where I'm staying and check out the news. I'm out of here....
