The turn-based strategy game for GBA is finally released in Japan, to rave reviews and excellent sales.

According to The Magic Box, the Nintendo-published Tactics Ogre Gaiden: The Knight of Lodis ruled Japanese software sales this week, debuting at #1 with over 150,000 units sold. In addition, legendary gaming mag Weekly Famitsu gave the game a score of 34 (9,8,9,8), making it the highest-rated GBA yet released in Japan. The high score means it is a Famitsu Gold game, which is a very high and rare honor. Nintendo of America is currently scheduled to publish the game in the U.S., even though Atlus has translated and published the last few Ogre Battle and Tactics Ogre games here.
