GameCube & Anti-Aliasing

We were a bit unclear about this after seeing some “jaggies” in GameCube games during E3. Now we have answers regarding NGC & anti-aliasing.

We were a bit confused about the look of some GameCube games displaying anti-aliasing in Nintendo’s booth and ran a couple versions of this story before deciding we really didn’t know what the heck was up.

On the final day of E3, we asked NOA’s Thom Leonard about it during our tour of the Nintendo booth about Anti-Aliasing. It seems that the GameCube can do it, no problem. However, many of the games shown at E3 did not display it due to time constraints. We were told to expect all games would be looking even more polished in time for the GameCube launch. Hey, sounds good to us!
