The delightful mouse Stuart Little will be coming to Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance AND GameCube courtesy of Activision.

Activision has announced a deal with Sony Pictures Consumer Products that gives them the rights to produce games based on Columbia Pictures' Stuart Little movie & its upcoming sequel, Stuart Little 2, which will hit summer 2002.

Activision plans to bring its Stuart Little games to Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance and GameCube! Activision has not announced plans to bring the perky mouse to non-Nintendo consoles.

Michael Peikoff, senior vice president marketing and client relations at Sony Pictures Consumer Products had this to say:

"We're genuinely excited to be partnering with Activision on the Stuart Little property. Stuart Little is considered an evergreen franchise for Sony Pictures Consumer Products and Activision's vibrant interactive games will delight and enchant children as well as their families around the world."

For those of you unfamiliar with the franchise, Stuart Little is a mouse who lives with his human family. The character first appeared in a book by E.B. White upon which the successful 1999 movie was based. Although this announcement won’t excite those hoping for more mature games on Nintendo systems, it’s definitely a swell licensing deal for Activision & good news for fans of the friendly rodent boy.
