An Oddworld Indeed

Oddworld Inhabitants co-founder, Lorne Lanning, has some ill-informed and seemingly ignorant comments regarding the Dolphin.

In one of the most ill-informed and seemingly ignorant responses ever spoken by an executive, Lorne Lanning, co-founder of Oddworld Inhabitants said the following to Hyper Magazine concerning Dolphin.

"(Nintendo) want to keep making machines with limited potential so that they can keep control over game developers and publishers while enforcing those insanely high manufacturing costs." said Lanning, "As for Dolphin, it seems as though Nintendo has made it clear that they are a toy company only and have no interest in being a true media entertainment company."

Currently making Munch's Oddysee for PS2, Lanning added, "The Dolphin is not on our radar screens," to his final comments.

Obviously he overlooked the Dolphin's DVD format, developer friendly environment, plus its Playstation 2 equalling (though most likely better) graphical capabilities. Here at PlanetN2000 we have learned to control our rage, so please feel free to leave your comments in the talkback page.
