Kit's? Maybe we should say kits...
And no I'm not referring to the lovable car from the spectacular 80's series, Knight Rider, I'm referring to the development kind. You know, the things companies like Capcom, Konami, and even Nintendo use to create their games. Well there has been much speculation as to whether or not developers out there have their hands on Dolphin development kits, and finally there looks to be some solid proof. When Nintendo announced three companies Factor 5, Metrowerks and Applied Microsystems Corporation were going to bring the Dolphin into reality much was speculated with very little information available. As part of its quarterly earnings report, Applied Microsystems has included "new revenues from Applied's development solutions for game consoles." This is most definitely directly related to emulation software and development hardware for Nintendo's next system as the company has no videogame console clients other than Nintendo. It's the companies policy to only acknowledge incoming money from products that have actually shipped, so during the first three months of this year there seems to be steady movement of Dolphin development hardware.
