Agatha Chapman released this following news item at FGNOnline the other day.

"Out of over 1,200 homes surveyed, nearly a quarter of respondents dubbed Nintendo as the family favorite. The recent Zogby poll pushed Nintendo out in front of the PlayStation and Dreamcast. The poll also indicated that Asians favour Sony, and African Americans favor both the N64 and PlayStation."

While it is interesting and not suprising to see that "Nintendo" is synonomous with video games, what was not made clear was any differentiation between N64 and Gameboy systems .. and also any potential NES or SNES systems.

Of course, we all know that Nintendo is near and dear to our hearts here at PLANETN2000.COM.

But what is not mentioned is a little bit about Zogby .. it seems that Zogby has two possible ways in which they conduct polls. Poll of 1000 Americans, and the other is a poll of 700 New York residents. Prospective clients can buy questions for these polls at $900 and $750 repectively. Clients then own outright the results of the polls that are conducted, and have the right to release or not release the information. I hate to rain on anyone's parade, but it is this staff members opinion that this makes for some very skewed polls. Just keeping it real, folks.
