Dolphin to retail for under 200$?

VP of Marketing at NOA, George Harrison, stated that $199.95 would be the target price Nintendo would use to launch the Dolphin. Although this figure is not final, it is a good indication of the price Nintendo is aiming for if it is to produce the Dolphin for the mass market. The Nintendo 64 will remain at $99 through the year until Dolphin's launch, but the GBC is expected to drop in price months before the release of the GBA into the market. And it is expected for the Gameboy Advance to cost $99 at its launch, Harrison told publications yesterday. Also of interest is that Harrison also told reporters that the Dolphin will carry Transfer Pak technology making it compatible with all three GB devices: the GB, GBC and GBA. Thus allowing for data transfer between the Dolphin and all three handhelds. This makes for interesting news, and good news for those fans of the Gameboy Color and not planning to purchase a Gameboy Advance. Thanks goes to Nintendojo for the goods.
