That European kid sure plays a mean pinball.

The last full month of summer opens with a bit of a quiet week for the eShops - in fact, Europe's only getting two new games this week. They're just getting a lot of pinball sales - of both the Star Wars and Zen variety - to make up for it. With the Olympics somehow managing to start in Rio tomorrow, both North America and Europe will get to wear out their 3DS buttons with Stickman Super Ahtletics.

North America gets Dragon Skills, whose eShop box art suggests Exeggutor came across his loooooooong neck from other dragons besides the ones in Alola. And the Virtual Console gets another Manaphy-free Pokémon Ranger game. Honestly, the biggest deal this week is the demo for Style Savvy: Fashion Forward which sadly has to compete with the 2016 Game of the Year in two weeks.

Speaking of, we should expect the preload for Style Savvy and the aforementioned GOTY, Metroid Prime Federation Force, to go live this week as well.

Pretty slow week with only 3 new releases, even worse for Europe since they only get 1 game this week
