The skepticism flows like wine.

Following multiple delays and rumors of further delays, Mighty No 9 is locked in for a very early summer release.

In a post on the game's official blog, director Keiji Inafune confirmed that the console versions, including the Wii U, would release on June 21 in North America and Asia, with the rest of the world following on 24 June. The 3DS version will follow "at a later date".

Mighty No 9 was originally slated for a early 2015 release, before being delayed to September 2015, then February 2016, then "Spring 2016" before landing in its current early summer timeslot. An erroneous listing on the Xbox game store saw the game set back to December.

4 Wii U retail games coming out in June. Then presumably 5 months later Paper Mario Colour Splash in November.

Actually MNo9 would be the 5th Wii U retail game coming out in June which is kind of insane.

Only Inafune could cram one last delay in at the same time he announces that he's finally going to manage to ship a game.

It's literally just after the Summer Solstice (June 20th) like a week earlier it could still be considered a spring release.

I'm waiting for him to Rayman Legends this one and delay it so he can make an NX version while the other finished versions sit in a warehouse or something.

Whoa!  Mighty No. 9 is coming out?!  I didn't realize it was already Spring 2015!

Apparently in Iceland it's already considered summer because they celebrate the first day of summer in April.

Gee, you learn so much looking up random things on the internet for sparky talkback comments.

That's highly unlikely considering one of Inafune's excuses for the delay back in January was that Unreal Engine 3 was no longer being supported by Epic, so they had to make all their changes by hand on a version-by-version basis.
