North America had the thrills, while Europe and Australia got back to basics
The second round of Splatfests is in the books, and both North America and the PAL territories had interesting results.
In the North American Splatfest II, thrills triumphed over chills as Roller Coasters eked out a win over Water Slides 152-148. Water Slides won the popularity poll 54-46, but Roller Coasters took the battles 53-47 to pick up the four point win. This marks the first time in six completed Splatfests that the team who lost popularity won by battling skill.
The European Splatfest saw Eating defeat Sleeping by a score of 159-141 in the Garfield Shield, giving Callie two wins on the weekend. Eating won the popularity poll 63-37 to overcome Sleeping's 52-48 win in the battles. Callie is now 5-1 in Splatfest competition worldwide.
