A return to a simpler time down on the farm

Natsume has announced their first Wii U Harvest Moon game in a release today.

Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories will come to Wii U, PC and mobile "this winter" and will feature a return to the original art style as seen in the Super Nintendo and Game Boy Color versions of the series.

The game will feature the traditional farming, fishing and forestry jobs, marriage options for both genders, and the ability to tame a bobcat.

Talkback

Choice of platforms sound odd at first but it's not that strange considering PC and Wii U are the easiest systems to port IOS/Android games to.

I wonder if they are trying to reclaim the fans who went with Story of Seasons over the last HM game by catering to the old-school fans. I'll keep an eye on it and if it is true enough to the old SNES/GBC/N64 titles I may pick it up.

Still need to grab Story of Seasons.

Just get Story of Seasons. Easily the best Harvest Moon in nearly a decade.

So this is the bad Harvest Moon, right?

I'm still waiting for SoS to drop down below $40. Do not think I have ever paid more than $35 for a 3DS game. It's gotta drop at some point.
