Donkey Kong vs. Mario: Tipping Stars highlights this week in downloads!

This week, there isn't a ton going on in the download. But hey, there is Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars! Remember that this is the first Nintendo published title to include crossbuy. So if you buy the Wii U version, you get the 3DS version for free and vice versa! Now you'll be able to guide those mini Marios to their rightful destinations wherever you go. As for the rest of the list, there's only one Virtual Console release after a big turnout last week, and we also have some fun indy titles such as OlliOlli. A little short on the depth side this week but there's still fun for everyone on both consoles!

Talkback

Twenty bucks for Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Without the cross-buy, I'm willing to bet that the Wii U and 3DS versions would've priced out at $10 each. This isn't cross-buy. I expected better from Nintendo.

Right now you can buy Pushmo World and OlliOlli combined for just under the same price as Mario vs Donkey Kong. You'll be getting a top notch puzzle game plus a game with crossbuy.

Mario vs. DK wouldn't have been $10 without cross-buy. $15, maybe.

Not that i'm complaining about Wii U getting more games, but why is Wii U getting the first OlliOlli game the same week that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 get its sequel?

The last two digital MvDK games cost $8 to $10 each. Why should this one be different?
