Yes, there were games released on Christmas. Lots of them!
You would think with Christmas taking place yesterday that Nintendo would take a break with downloads this week. But good news, as that is not the case! Instead, Nintendo has opted to release a fair amount of games for both systems. While Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse has been a hotly anticipated Wii U release, most of the big news lies within the Virtual Console releases. Duck Hunt is now out for the Wii U for those who enjoy hunting ducks and laughing dogs, as well as two Mario titles previously released on the Game Boy Advance - Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 and Mario Party Advance. Forgot there was actually a Mario Party Advance? Well now you can play it! And if you can’t get enough Mario, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe is out on the Virtual Console, providing BOTH Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels! No shortage of fun this holiday season!
