Get your mad chess skills on March 20.

Pure Chess will be coming to the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS eShops on March 20 for £4.99/€5.99/$7.99.

Developer VooFoo Studios states that Pure Chess "aims to reflect the beauty and depth of the widely respected game". It will have a tutorial mode aimed toward beginners who aren't familiar with the game, while still providing enough challenge for players of all experience levels. The game will also include a cross-play feature where players will be able to play opponents on the 3DS and Wii U, as well as iOS and Android devices.

If the reviews on this are good, I may pick it up.  I've always wanted a good videogame chess game (I think I owned one back on the N64 that wasn't bad), and being downloadable so it's on the system and always available is a plus since it's definitely a play once in a while here and there type of game.  The trailer looks good, hopefully it plays as good as it looks.
