Your favorite handheld system now comes in Yoshi flavor!

A Yoshi's New Island 3DS XL bundle has appeared on an online retailer, including the handheld system and the game.

The bundle, set to be priced at £199.99 (the same price as the Zelda 3DS XL released with A Link Between Worlds) is listed as coming out March 14, the same day as Yoshi's New Island.

Although the image posted to the online retailer, shown right, is only a fan mockup, IGN has confirmed that the bundle is coming to North America.

jrlibrarian is staff now? When did that happen?

No idea, but I'm submitting my resume. :D

Brings a tear to my eye to see little Jr grow up like this. You go get those news stories, buddy!

When jrlibrarian first joined our forums, a staff position is what he wanted and even made this topic on it: http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?topic=28745.0

I guess he finally broke through with Dasmos disappearing as that seemed to be the only person opposed to it.

Way to be, Jeffrey!

Oh my god, that first year of posting from me was pretty immature and obnoxious. It didn't help that I was 15 at the time.

In December, I decided to throw my hat back into the ring, and Neal remembered me. I was contacted early last week, so now I'm in the trial stage, hopefully on my way to being full staff. It only took 5+ years of work at other websites to get there.

Considering that you were posting better then than I am now, your posting habits were pretty good back then. Congrats for doing something that's been a dream of mine for years.

If I may ask, how did you get these sort of gigs on other sites?

jrlibrarianJeffrey Trewin, Associate EditorFebruary 10, 2014

It was actually pretty easy. I mostly scouted this website until I found sites that actually had, ya know, standards, instead of being glorified blogs. I just wrote up some reviews of games I had played, and submitted them. Turns out that quite a lot of websites will be impressed if you put some effort in and have a cover letter and the like. NWR is just one of the big ones that puts a lot of pride into their work.

Keep working at crafting your skills at smaller sites, and before long you'll have enough experience to impress some of the bigger dogs.

Maybe you'll eventually be given the power to fix the forums.  And redesign the front page into something useful.

:D
