Complete with tear-away clothing!

Senran Kagura Burst will be coming to North America as a downloadable title, courtesy of Xseed Games.

The game is a collection of two games: Senran Kagura and Senran Kagura Burst. The first game has been reworked with gameplay improvements.

Senran Kagura is a game series developed by Tamsoft that features a cast of female ninjas and side-scrolling action gameplay. A prominent feature of the game is that the characters clothes tear away gradually as they are damaged. In Japan there have been several entries in the series as well as various manga and an animated series.

The original Japanese audio will be left as is, Xseed will only be translating the text into English. The game is currently scheduled to be releasing in the fall on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

The dream has been realized and now the boobs will arrive.

The games for the 3DS and Vita are simple, repetitive affairs judging from the videos I've seen. The Vita's Shinovi Versus looks like Dynasty Warriors while the 3DS games (or game as Burst is a combination of the two 3DS games) are more of the side-scrolling beat'em up sort. Still it's good to see games cross the Pacific.

Various sources that will remain anonymous suggest there are an incredible amount of plot elements and plot physics in the game.

Oh yes. I only play this game for the full plots and rounded out backstories, if you know what I mean, wink wink, knudge knudge, say no more, say no more.

Actually, I guess this thing is actually based on anime so it just follows the anime's story. I've clearly spent too much time learning about this since yesterday's announcement but I'm still trying to figure out when this game was being demanded to be brought over to North America.

@Khushrenada
From what I can gather, the 3DS game(s) came before the animated series. The anime was broadcasted to coincide with the Vita game, I think.
