Motion capped dogs for everyone!

During Gamespot's E3 live stream, Infinity Ward confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be coming to Wii U.

Mark Rubin, executive producer on the game, stated that it had not been previously confirmed because they "wanted to keep it mysterious." There was no word on why the publisher, Activision, still hasn't confirmed the game for Wii U.

Talkback

Dumb reason. I don't understand this trend of 3rd parties announcing the same game for 5(!) platforms (360,PS3,XboxOne,PS4,PC) and not the WiiU.  If they are making ports for so many different platforms, why omit the WiiU? Developing for a different architecture is no excuse and surely the added cost for an additional team is worth it to put a game on a system that already has millions of game-starved users.

Why are 3rd parties who are developing multiplats on WiiU not announcing the WiiU version?

Nice to see it "officially" confirmed, 5 weeks after gaming websites reported that they had confirmation of a Wii U version. For example, Polygon reported it in early May.

I will probably buy this if it's available on the eShop, unlike Black Ops 2. If it's not, I'll probably pass.

Activision should put Dead Pool and TMNT: Out of the Shadows on the Wii U as well.
