Ever wanted to create and edit music on your 3DS? Well, now you can.
KORG M01D, an advanced music creation program based on the KORG M1, has been announced exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
The software is described by publisher Detune as a "music workstation", in which users can produce their own music with a synthesiser featuring over 300 sounds and an 8-track sequencer, as well as a swathe of editing tools like including a mixer and sound browser.
The M01D itself appears in 3D on the top screen, while the touch screen is used to input notes, chords and percussion.
Users will also be able to transfer song and MIDI data to an SD card, and send it to others either through a local wireless connection or over the internet.
This is not the first piece of KORG software to appear on a Nintendo system; a similar program, called KORG DS-10, was released for the Nintendo DS in 2008.
KORG M01D is expected to launch on the eShop this May in Japan and later in the Summer everywhere else.
