Add some more third party titles to the digital pile.

Tetris: Axis and Resident Evil: Revelations are coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan.

Tetris: Axis, simply titled Tetris in Japan is being published by Namco Bandai, and is set to release on February 28 for a slightly discounted price of 3,400 yen (the physical version runs 3,990 yen).

Resident Evil: Revelations, known as Biohazard: Revelations in the Land of the Rising Sun, is coming to the eShop on March 7. Revelations will be on sale from the time of its digital release until March 31 at 11:59 p.m., where it will be available for 4,990 yen. After the sale period, the title will be sold for 5,300 yen, which is about 700 yen cheaper than that of the physical retail version (5,990 yen). I hope going forward, 3rd parties will start releasing their games digitally day and date with retail.  Seeing as that appears to be the trend on all consoles (handheld included) going forward, I'm glad to see a lot of the early 3DS software being rereleased digitally and given a second chance. A lot of this stuff should have been digital from the get go like Tetris. I'm still shocked that Steel Diver has yet to see an eShop release as it is really tailored for it.
