Nintendo says it will be back after the New Year.

The Club Nintendo Gold Wii Nunchuk reward has sold out for the second time, however Nintendo has revealed via Twitter that it will return after the New Year.

The Gold Wii Nunchuk accessory was first released as a North American Club Nintendo reward last August, but quickly sold out. It was recently added for a second time just yesterday and once again it sold out.

The Gold Wii Nunchuk costs 900 Club Nintendo coins. Those interested better start saving now if they want to ring in the New Year with some gold.

This time I got my order in before they sold out!

I'm glad Nintendo immediately announced that it will return. It should be easy for them since it's just a regular nunchuck except gold. Club Nintendo rewards, while a nice gesture, are mostly mediocre at best. Even though I'm sure most people will (attempt to) sell the gold nunchuck or put it on a display shelf, the gold nunchuck is a practical reward that can be used regularly with the thing you earned most, if not all, those coins with.

Thread title gave me a chuckle:

Golden Nunchuck will return in...

Club Nintendo is Forever!

Or something.

August, huh?  I've been checking CN *every day* since I missed out the first time, so I guess that's something like 90 days.  Well, I got in this time, and Nintendo sent me a shipped notice on both that and the Mario cards reward that same night. I've got the gold Wiimote, so I'm definitely actually using the nunchuk.

I use mine as well, it's my fourth Nunchuk so it has use for multiplayer games.

Glad to hear itll be back.  I should be able to accrue the necessary coins by then.
