K.K. Slider gets a new gig too!

Music will play an even bigger role in the newest installment of Animal Crossing, which is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. This is according Kazumi Totaka, the sound director for the game, who talked during this morning's Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct presentation.

Depending on what time of day you will be walking through your town, the music will sound differently and will react with your surroundings. Players can expect early morning music to be calm and relaxed, while music during the day has a more upbeat tone. Later in the evening the music will get more bass and if you dare to take a stroll late at night, the music will be mysterious to the ears.

K.K. Slider is back as well in a brand new place called Club 444. On Saturdays, he does his usual guitar gig and lets you enjoy various relaxing and fun little melodies. Fortunately, this is not the only time during the week you will see K.K. At night he will take on the alter ego of DJ K.K. Famicom Night, A song that he will play was highlighted during the presentation and included bits of chiptune. You and friends can even dance to the music if you so desire.

Totaka has promised tons of new music for the game and hopes that players will be able to discover all of the tunes. Animal Crossing 3DS will be hitting store shelves in Japan on November 8. Last we heard the game was scheduled to come out in North American during the first half of 2013.
