The Club Nintendo bonus is sold out.

Those still wishing to get their hands on the Australian Club Nintendo golden Nunchuk are out of luck, as the option has been removed from the list of rewards.

Our contact at Nintendo Australia has confirmed that the special Nunchuk, designed to match the Hylian crest-emblazoned gold Wii Remote that came with the Special Edition of Zelda: Skyward Sword, has completely sold out. No word was given if the pricey peripheral is going to be reinstated to the rewards list in the future, but given the limited nature of the reward it seems unlikely.

The Nunchuk had been available for a whopping 3000 Stars on the Australian catalogue, making it this year's most expensive item to claim. The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary poster set, sold out in other Club Nintendo regions, is still available for 1300 Stars.

I'm thinking this might be a Platinum reward for the North America this year...
