Sega of America has confirmed for PGC that the upcoming Skies of Arcadia Legend for GameCube is in fact being developed by Overworks, the Sega developer who created the original Dreamcast game. Point of View Software in California was originally announced as the game's developer, but we now know that they were only porting the PS2 version, which has since been canceled.

Nintendo's family of sites get a new home. Note: This has nothing to do with network gaming.

During Midway's game presentation today at the Gamers' Day, Midway showed us a quick glimpse of what we should be expecting with fatalities in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. Unfortunately, we only got to see two:

1. Head stomp. Opponent is on ground. Player leaps in the air and stomps on head, basically blowing it apart.

The critically acclaimed sports game is now available on your GameCube.

No Skies of Arcadia for PS2 while GC version get more than a port!

According to Dengeki Online, Sega of Japan announced on August 1 that they will cease development of Eternal Arcadia Legend (US title: Skies of Arcadia Legend) for PS2. Sega states that the development team will focus on improving the quality of the GC version by adding new elements to the game and more.
