Hopefully their Wii U games can be as awesome as Nano Assault.

Shin'en revealed on their website that they are developing games for Wii U.

The developer of Nano Assault, Jett Rocket, FAST, and many more teased a difference on their website on their Twitter page. The change is in their Welcome section, which reads: "Welcome to Shin'en's web-site. If you're interested in our services and productions, you've come to the right place. Shin'en was founded in 1999. We develop high quality games for WiiU, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color using proprietary tools."

Wii U is clearly stated, signifying that the company is working on projects for Nintendo's next system. They're active on 3DS, with a retail game (Nano Assault) and several eShop games, including Fun! Fun! Minigolf TOUCH!, which comes out on Thursday.

Can you actually develop for the GBA and GBC anymore...

Is it a confirmation of development for WiiU or is it confirmation that WiiWare will be available through WiiU, since they developed Jett Rocket?

I think they'll probably focus on the online store there, making a retail game for an HD system requires a huge team and they don't have that.

Should we expect a Wii U eShop at launch? Or is that asking for too much?

This is great news. I wonder what Shin'en will release first for the platform. A shoot'em up? A racing game? A platforming game? Or maybe a puzzle game? You never know with these guys.

Nano Assault 2 for Wii U please!! ^_^

(add online co-op and I will probably pass out with excitement)

If this is true, then Shin'en is a bunch of dicks.

That being said, I don't think that's the case.
