A QR-code-related bug was fixed this week.

The 2nd update for Hiku Osu (Pushmo in North America and Pull Blox in Europe) is now available on the Japan eShop. Last week’s update added QR code functionality, whereby players can import and export originally created puzzles. However, it contained some bugs; specifically, due to the bugs, some puzzles were improperly encoded to QR codes which created unsolvable puzzles.

Today’s update fixed this problem. As before, the way to update Hiku Osu is very simple. When you go to eShop with a 3DS where Hiku Osu is installed, you are informed of the update. If you choose to update it, the new version is downloaded and installed automatically. Players’ save data and progression are kept intact.

In the article on the last update, we posted the QR code of a puzzle by our Europe Correspondent, Daan Koopman. Unfortunately, the code suffers from the bug. Below is an updated, bug free version of Daan's puzzle.

Hiku Osu is going to be released outside of Japan in December.
