The yellow, hungry, dot-eating fiend is making his way to the Virtual Console this week.

The Game Boy version of Pac-Man will hit the eShop in Japan on Wednesday and will retail for 300 yen.

With the inclusion this upcoming title from Namco Bandai, the total number of Virtual Console games on the 3DS will be up to 15 in the Land of the Rising Sun. Nintendo 3DS owners in Japan also have access to a handful of downloadable 3DS exclusive titles including the 3D Classic Xevious.

Well, won't Pacman CE be included on that Galaga/Pacman Dimensions 3DS game?

Yes, it contains Pac-Man, Pac-Man Tilt, Pac-Man Championship Edition (not the new DX one though), Galaga, Galaga 3D Impact, and Galaga Legions. I think Tilt and Impact are new games created for this release.

Pac Man CE DX is way better than the original (which is also pretty good). I hope the Pac Man/Galaga game does well so maybe they'll bring DX to the eShop.

And as for the actual news here: bring on Ms. Pac Man!

The question everyone's not asking because most everyone doesn't know about...

Will this include the 2-Player mode, if so, how will that work?

The 2-player mode in this game was awesome.

Considering no other 2-player game has worked thus far...
:(

Shucks.  I've only downloaded single player games (DK, Zelda, Mario, Kirby), so I hadn't even given thought to the multi-player modes.

Stupid, but not surprising decision....
