Wonder if you'll trip over a gaming conglomerate during your exploration.
A sequel to a Nihon Falcom RPG got Direct time during the Partner Showcase, but with nary a Trail to be found.
Kyoto Xanadu, the sequel to Tokyo Xanadu, showed English gameplay and a 2026 release on both Switch 2 and the original Switch. The game has brief high school elements, with largely 2D side-scrolling exploration of dungeons and 3D action combat.

Based on the last game with that description, we can just assume it's never getting un-paused.
The Switch 2 has dodged the bullet of Borderlands 4.
During their Q3 earnings call today, Take Two Interactive's upcoming release slate (which included this Friday's PGA Tour 2K25 release for Switch 2), the Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 was not on the list at all. A Take Two spokesperson issued the following statement to Variety: "We made the difficult decision to pause development on that SKU."

Nintendo has revealed their financial results and provided sales updates through the end of calendar 2025, and the Switch 2 and Switch both ended up with record breaking quarters.
All monetary figures quoted in yen, with a comparison based on current market rate of US$1 = ¥155.957 provided for clarification only. Year over year increases also noted to be compared to the final holiday quarter of just the Switch.
