Universal Interactive's little purple dragon is finally going multi-console.

Last year Universal Interactive announced that Spyro the Dragon would be going multiplatform, but no specifics were mentioned. Now the company has finally confirmed that their upcoming game in the series, Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, will be available for GameCube as well as PS2. Another 3D Engine for GBA GBA

A company called Logik State has announced their 3D engine for GBA, with screenshots.

UK developer Logik State is showing off its new 3D polygonal engine for GBA, with screenshots at the link above. The screens show a car racing demo and a snowboarding demo. These could eventually become actual GBA games, but so far there is no publisher for them.

Sega and Amusement Vision are bringing Virtua Striker 3 v. 2002 to Arcades, powered by Nintendo, Namco and Sega’s Triforce board. The game is a port of the GameCube title, and no updates or enhancements have been mentioned. It is currently unknown if the Arcade edition will be released outside of Japan.

Today Capcom confirmed to us that both Magical Quest Starring Mickey and Minnie for GBA and Magical Mirror Starring Mickey Mouse for GameCube are being developed by Capcom in Japan, but will be published by Nintendo. This isn't really new info, but we weren't totally clear on the publisher situation, and we thought maybe some of you readers might be confused as we were.

Midway Cancels GC Biker

Looks like Gravity Games on GameCube just came crashing down.

Midway has just announced worse-than-expected sales for many of its titles and has canned the GameCube version of Gravity Games: Street. Dirt. Vert. which was planned for the release in Q3 2002. The game will still come out on PS2 and X-Box. Midway has also announced a delay for Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.

Yesterday morning, we reported the news that Sonic Mega Collection and Sonic Adventure (apparently the first one) would be coming to GameCube along with Sonic Advance 2. Much later in the day, Sega released a press release which indicated the Sonic Adventure game for NGC was “new.” Or so it seemed.
